APRA Quarterly Statistics

According to APRA, total superannuation assets rose 4.4% during the March 2007 quarter, bringing the overall value of superannuation assets to $1,054bn at 31 March 2007. During the March quarter, industry funds assets grew 6.2% to $182.7bn, while self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) assets grew 5.3% to $245.6bn, held in 337,902 SMSFs.
SMSF Assets have grown by $12.3B between December 2006 and March 2007.
